Progress - January 22

We've continued to have rain problems on and off, but have made progress in spite of that. The forms have all been stripped from the porch decking, and the porch looks great. The masons have been working - and will continue to work for a while more - on rough casting and truing up the windows and doors. The cedar has been ordered for the window and door casings.

I've incuded a couple of pictures to show that Tom really does do some work other than taking pictures, and that JC has been working on her quilting project. I'm trying to get the floor in my shop dug out and leveled so that we can cast the floor in there this week.

After many false starts and delays, mostly caused by uncooperative weather, the project to improve the road up from Prospect is nearing completion. It really looks great, and we have paid a great deal of attention to managing the drainage so that it won't wash out as fast as in the past.
