The major projects over the last couple of weeks have been getting the shower room built, creating a seemingly endless quantity of window grilles, and finally getting the kitchen and living room floors tiled. By the time we leave, most of the essential work on the house will be done, so that next year can be a little more relaxed - and a lot cheaper....
