January has continued to be fun and exciting. In addition to all of the projects we already had going, Dick Elliott has broken ground on their house and so we have construction crews around most days. One project got finished - Tom got the last few railings installed on the porch and JC got them painted. JC has continued quilting, and is in serious danger of completing the piece that she started last year. Just to make sure we don’t get bored, we had a load of marl stones delivered, and have started doing some landscaping. Tom has continued doing mosaic work on the house, and his two apprentices, Kevin and Kavae, have started on their mosaics. The weather has continued very dry - there have only been a few light showers since we arrived in early December. I guess that’s why they call it the dry season.
